Darkness

Darkness here, darkness there

There is darkness everywhere

Up in the heavens, between the stars

Making a crescent and hiding the scars

Flickering lamps and bickering fires

lights up homes in all the shires

Between these houses darkness streams

Stars on earth, from heaven it seems

Sounds of darkness, calming silence

Blinding us with black suspense

gives us sight of a dazzling firefly

and auroral curtains, in midnight sky

Sip of darkness, carefree slumber

Darkness virtues cannot number

In the dungeons of our heart

there too, it can get a little dark

Darkness here, darkness there
