A dream: A lonely goof

In the frailty, of the twilight
she held, my little finger
I tugged, and it was tight
and I let, my dreams linger

Dozen faces, speaking muted words
just her laughter, filled my ears
like melodiously ringing chords
may it last, for many more years

Her face glows, in charming colours
everything else, is dull and grey
dabs of tints, tinges and flavours
only she deserves them all, if I may

I see the moon in my roof, he is all aloof
admiring moons and stars, far and away
I'm like the moon, a lonely goof
admiring her in my dreams, everyday
